I am a compassionate and culturally responsive mental health professional dedicated to helping individuals who often feel unseen, unheard, or overwhelmed by the needs of others. I specialize in working with clients experiencing anxiety, people-pleasing behaviors, difficulty setting boundaries, and self-doubt.

My approach centers on creating a safe, judgment-free space where clients can move at their own pace, build self-trust, and reconnect with their inner strengths. Through mindfulness-based techniques and empathetic support, I help individuals find relief, clarity, and confidence as they learn to honor their needs and show up authentically in their lives.

Miso Kim, M.Ed., LCMHCA, NCC

Seeking external help and sharing your most vulnerable thoughts, feelings, and experiences is an incredibly courageous step—especially with someone new. I deeply respect that decision and feel honored to walk alongside you in your mental health journey. Whether you are feeling emotionally numb, in need of someone to truly listen, hesitant to discuss painful experiences, or struggling to find the words to express your emotions, please know that you are not alone. Together, we can build a foundation of trust and safety to explore and heal.

I work with individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, identity exploration, neurodivergence, family challenges, and life transitions. My approach is strength-based, non-judgmental, and culturally informed. I strive to help my clients process trauma, understand how past experiences and societal systems shape the present, and develop practical skills for authentic healing and growth.

My ultimate goal is to create a safe, affirming space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to be an active agent of change in your own life. If you feel I may be the right fit for your journey, I would love the opportunity to connect with you.
